What is the Event?
This seminar will focus on health-related challenges, concurrent health conditions and mental health concerns experienced by people living with HIV. Specifically, highlighting research findings from the HIV, Health and Rehabilitation Survey and examining the impact of community-based exercise interventions. Finally, we will provide updates on research initiatives related to HIV and rehabilitation and offer ideas for implementing strategies for living well into clinical practice across disciplines.

What is the Event?
Researchers, clinicians and community members will come together to discuss updates on findings from research about living well and living longer with HIV.
The session will include key updates from the HIV, Health and Rehabilitation Survey Study, Heads Up! Study, and realize. The session will also include a panel discussion with clinicians and community members who will discuss their perspectives on what the research means for people living with HIV, health providers and community-based organizations.
Light refreshments and snacks will be provided at 5:30-6:00pm. The session will commence shortly after refreshments from 6:00pm-8:00pm. We are very pleased to announce the launch of the HIV, Health and Rehabilitation Survey Fact Sheet!
What is the HIV, Health and Rehabilitation Survey (HHRS)?
The HHRS is a web-based survey with adults living with HIV in Canada asking about disability, concurrent health conditions, and rehabilitation services use.
The HHRS is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, HIV/AIDS Research Initiative.
What is the aim of the HHRS Fact Sheet?
The aim of this summary is to highlight the key findings of the HHRS to the broader community including people living with HIV, knowledge user and collaborator organizations, clinics and community-based organizations.
